A reality that challenges us
Ukraine faces one of the most severe childhood crises in Europe. Over 100,000 children currently live in care institutions, separated from their families due to various circumstances: extreme poverty, armed conflict, orphanhood, or family vulnerability situations.
At the Didac Sanchez Foundation, we firmly believe that every child deserves to grow up in a safe environment, with access to education, health, and above all, love. That is why, since 2015, we have focused much of our efforts on protecting vulnerable Ukrainian children.
Our lines of action
We work on multiple fronts to ensure the well-being of minors:
- Prevention of child malnutrition: We distribute nutritious foods and vitamin supplements to orphanages and care centers.
- Defense of children's rights: We collaborate with local authorities to ensure international child protection standards are met.
- Educational development: We provide school supplies, creative workshops, and pedagogical support so no child is left behind.
- Emotional support: We organize recreational and therapeutic activities to help children overcome trauma and develop resilience.
The Ladyzhyn Orphanage case
One of our most emblematic projects is the ongoing support to the Ladyzhyn Orphanage, where we have delivered personal hygiene products, educational toys, and UV lamps to ensure optimal sanitary conditions.
The children of Ladyzhyn have taught us that, despite difficulties, hope and joy can flourish when adequate support is provided.
How you can help
Your contribution can make a difference in the life of a Ukrainian child. Every donation, no matter how small, is entirely dedicated to our child protection programs. Together, we can build a fairer future for the most vulnerable.
