Letter from Dídac Sánchez

I remember the words of a friend who always told me, paraphrasing a Roman Caesar: "Respice post te! Hominem te esse memento"!, ("Look behind you! Remember that you are only a man"). And yes, it's true, some time ago I realized that I am only a man, of flesh and blood like the rest of people.

Dídac Sánchez

When I formed the Dídac Sánchez Foundation, at the end of 2015, my life and my business grew faster than my own management and assimilation capacity. We do not realize how weak we are, until we analyze the successes we have sought and achieved, of course working with discipline, perseverance and effort. And it is precisely from up there, no matter how little you go up, from where the problems below can be best observed.

Unfortunately, there is always the initiative of some people who try to destroy the success of others.

It has been in recent years, a kind of sport that fascinates these unbelievers who, instead of turning upwards to pushing those people or projects that stand out, only seek to push them down.

Some may think that this Foundation seeks to obtain some kind of protagonism. I can answer with complete sincerity and without any blush, that this reasoning is totally true, since the Dídac Sánchez Foundation seeks to obtain the greatest possible prominence, but not for me as a person, nor as an entrepreneur, nor as if I were a kind of Guru.

This Foundation is not a work of its own, but the fruit of the efforts of all the people who are part of it. None of this would be possible without the joint collaboration of all the collaborators who are part of this initiative without any profit.

For those who may wonder what we do at the Foundation, I must say that all the programs and activities that are carried out are very related to my experiential experience in the past, with my childhood, and it is sometimes difficult to make others understand our objectives, if they have not gone through or lived similar experiences.

I would have liked someone to have helped my family and me in my childhood, and if we want something to change in the world, no matter how small, we have to take a step forward and not stare at the bulls from the barrier.

In our Foundation without political ideologies, nor spurious tax or economic objectives, donations and aid are allocated 100% to the most vulnerable and affected.

It is possible that this is the only and first Foundation created by a young man at the age of 22. Today this Foundation seeks to improve and change the lives of the strongest, since the simple fact that these people are not going through the best circumstances, does not give us the right to label them as weak. They are and will always be the future of our planet.

Dídac Sánchez
