About Us
Assistance to people at risk of social exclusion.
Millions of people in the world are at risk of poverty and social exclusion.
The bitterest face of poverty and social exclusion is embodied in the situation of children, who have much higher indicators of risk of poverty and social exclusion than other age groups.
In Ukraine, more than 100,000 children live in care institutions, facing situations of extreme vulnerability.
Globally, 170 million children fail to reach their full potential due to inadequate nutrition and lack of access to basic services.
The figures are alarming: 1 in 3 children is currently at risk of social exclusion, with a child poverty rate reaching 32.9% of the underage population. This reality reminds us that childhood is the most vulnerable group in the face of inequality, and that acting now means transforming the future of an entire generation. Every child who receives support today is an opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and build fairer and more equitable societies.
The lack of basic resources during childhood has consequences that last a lifetime: lower school performance, chronic health problems, and difficulties accessing the labor market in adulthood. That is why the Dídac Sánchez Foundation focuses its efforts on early intervention, providing food, education, and emotional support to the most vulnerable children, especially in Ukraine, where the humanitarian crisis has dramatically worsened these situations of helplessness.
Child poverty is a global problem that affects millions of children around the world.
The Dídac Sánchez Foundation works mainly in Ukraine, where the situation of vulnerability of children and young people requires urgent attention. Our commitment is to provide direct help to those who need it most.
